H&L Sumfest Summa Fix | July 1 – July 14th, 2024

 

ELIGIBILITY

Members of H&L Club Loyalty programme get up to 12% OFF when they shop with H&L in stores or online. Enrollment is through a form at any of our 10 H&L Rapid True Value, 5 H&L Agro stores island wide or online at hardwareandlumber.com. Enrollees will be notified by email once their loyalty account is activated.

 

H&L Club Loyalty members are invited to shop in H&L Rapid True Value, H&L Agro or online at hardwareandlumber.com during the 2-week period July 1 – July 14th, 2024 for entries per below, before GCT:

$7,500 - $12,500         1 Entry

$12,501 - $17,500       2 Entries

$17,501 - & over          3 Entries

 

Receipts will indicate that customers have been entered in the promotion.

 

The promotion is only open to residents of Jamaica who are part of the H&L Club Loyalty Programme.

 

Entrants must be 18 years and older.

 

Companies and Institutions are not eligible to participate in this promotion.

Hardware & Lumber employees, partnering agencies and their immediate families (defined as spouse, children, mother, father or siblings) are not eligible to participate in this promotion.

Reggae Sumfest VIP Tickets: US$135 EACH, total: US$8,640 | J$1,356,480

  • The prizes cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.

WINNER SELECTION

Draw location: H&L Head Office at 697 Spanish Town Road, Kingston 11.

Weekly Winners: There will be 2 weekly draws: July 8 and 15 2024. On each draw date 1 potential winning entries per store will be selected randomly from the database of entries by 12:00 p.m.; one set of backup winners will also be selected, 1 per store.

Entries from each store will be collected and organized per store using our ERP System. The draws will then be made per store to determine the store winners. A total of 60 store tickets will be distributed and 4 online tickets (two tickets per store and online).

The data will be extracted from our ERP system and exported to an external website (random.org) where the platform’s randomizer functionality will be used to select the winner. The winners will be contacted by the H&L team.

 

Members are not entitled to win more than one prize throughout the duration of the promotion.

 

WINNER COMMUNICATIONS

Selected winners will be contacted primarily via telephone and secondarily by email/WhatsApp. We will contact the winner via phone, 3 attempts per day over the course of 3 days. A call is deemed to have failed if all attempts are unsuccessful. Calls are unsuccessful if the phone rings without an answer or if the call fails or if it goes to voicemail for over the stated period. If we are unable to contact the winner after these telephone attempts, we will proceed to email/WhatsApp.

 

The WhatsApp/email message would be “Good Day, we are trying to get in touch with you to inform you that you have been randomly selected as a winner in the H&L Sumfest Summa Fix Promotion. Please confirm your receipt of this message within 24 hours.” This message would be shared three times on the initial day of contact and then once per day for two days,: if unsuccessful, the backup winner will be contacted.

 

Winners are to collect their prize at an H&L store of their choice during store hours as the store hours vary, they will be required to present a government issued photo I.D. (Passport, Driver’s License, National I.D.) or School ID (Photo ID) for validation. Prizes are to be collected within 3 working days of confirmation, if they are not collected within 3 days the prizes will be retained by Hardware & Lumber.

 

RELEASES

Hardware & Lumber reserves the right to use the winners’ image or voice (release will be sent to select winners) in any advertising or promotional activity without consideration. Failure to participate will result in the forfeiture of any prize.
